Robert Agresta has served as lead counsel in a wide range of disputes including antitrust and civil RICO disputes as well as federal multi-district litigations and class action lawsuits.  He has litigated dozens of cases to award, verdict or settlement and has briefed and/or argued appeals in both state and federal appellate courts.

For over a decade, the firm has also represented privately owned Hospitals, Surgery Centers and other providers in a wide range of industry-specific matters including assuming the responsibilities of external general counsel, managing and directing litigation and transaction counsel and guiding clients through the vast morass that is the American body of law governing the provision and financial reimbursement of health care services.

We have extensive experience representing health care providers in all types of managed care disputes including reimbursement disagreements, prompt payment disputes, unlawful bundling and downcoding of claims, improper coverage denials, healthcare fraud investigations, federal false claims act allegations and managed care audits.

We have recovered tens of millions of dollars for hospital clients in litigations and arbitrations involving underpayments including Usual and Customary Rates (UCR) and prompt payment issues.
